Dr. Shawn T. Tyson - Chiropractor/Clinic Director     

Dr. Tyson was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Where he was a two-sport athlete which lead to his interest in fitness and health. After receiving a partial scholarship for football, he completed his undergraduate degree from Bridgewater University. A football injury in college is what led to his involvement in Chiropractic. In 1997 he earned his Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and Exercise Physiology. Next he attended Life University of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia. There he was trained in multiple techniques to handle many different spinal conditions. While attending Life University he spent hundreds of hours getting certified in CBP (Chiropractic BioPhysics).  Dr.Tyson uses CBP because it is the most researched and published spinal rehabilative technique in Chiropractic today. CBP is used to correct the spinal condition not just your symptoms!

Following graduation in 2001 from Life University, Dr.Tyson returned to Virginia and worked as a coverage Doctor for numerous Chiropractic offices, earning great experience using different techniques. In 2002 he moved to Prescott to train under a very successful Doctor, eventually taking over his large family practice. In January 2003 he took over Hands On Healthcare and continues to serve the Tri-cities with love and compassion. He follows strict CBP spinal corrective protocols, with follow-up post-xray analysis to determine maximal objective correction.

Dr. Tyson has delivered thousands of adjustments and treated patients from 2 hours old to 99 years old. His goal is to "Educate and adjust as many families as possible towards optimal health through Natural Chiropractic Care."
